Tennessee State Veterans Home Welcomes Kyle Chamberlain as Administrator

New Administrator to Lead Team at Murfreesboro Veterans Home

MURFREESBORO – Tennessee State Veterans’ Homes Board (TSVHB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kyle Chamberlain as Administrator of the Tennessee State Veterans’ Home in Murfreesboro. In this capacity, Kyle will oversee the daily operations of the Home and maintain compliance in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the TSVHB to ensure maximum high standards of care to residents.

“I am thrilled to be joining the State Veterans Home team in Murfreesboro,” states Chamberlain. “I look forward to working alongside the staff to serve the veterans and ensure our resident heroes continue to receive the highest quality of care possible.”

Kyle is a seasoned Administrator and brings over 26 years of long-term care experience to the Tennessee State Veterans’ Homes. Most recently, he served as the Administrator for Fresenius Dialysis in Smyrna. Prior to that, he was the Administrator of a 180-bed Skilled Care facility in Tullahoma.

Kyle graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree from Shawnee State University with an emphasis in Healthcare Management. He began his career in long-term care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and served as an Admissions Director and Social Worker before passing the state and national requirements to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in 2000. In 2005, Kyle and his family moved from Ohio to Tennessee where he had the opportunity to serve as an Administrator in a variety of skilled care facilities.

Throughout his career, Kyle has helped many facilities achieve 5-star CMS ratings and deficiency-free surveys by fostering teamwork among his staff and building relationships with area physicians and discharge planners. Kyle’s approach to healthcare is simplistic. “Do the right thing and take care of folks”, said Chamberlain. “There is no need to make it any more complicated”.

“We are pleased to welcome Kyle to the Tennessee State Veterans’ Homes team. His experience, expertise, and approach to working with employees, residents, and their families will serve us well,” said Ed Harries, Tennessee State Veterans’ Homes Board Executive Director.

Kyle currently resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with his wife Melissa and their four children.
