KNOXVILLE – Tennessee State Veterans’ Homes (TSVH), a skilled nursing and long-term care organization, today announced its partnership with Theoria Medical (Theoria), a Michigan-based medical group that will incorporate proprietary telemedicine technology into resident care plans. Theoria was awarded the contract to provide medical services at the Ben Atchley Tennessee State Veterans’ Home in Knoxville. Theoria’s model aims to further improve the continuum of care for residents by incorporating highly trained medical professionals and innovative technology into care delivery.

Theoria’s partnership with the Ben Atchley Tennessee State Veterans’ Home will feature the following:
• Significant presence and engagement of in-person medical staff 5 days per week
• Robust medical management to manage highly complex patients avoiding hospital readmissions
• Specialty services, such as wound care, to facility residents in the comfort of their room
• 24/7/365 immediate telemedicine support staffed by highly trained full-time providers enabling rapid response times to nursing staff and patient needs
• State of the art telemedicine equipment with full assessment capabilities
