The ADON is responsible for the supervision and assessment of residents care needs and implementation of appropriate actions including implementing nursing policies and procedures. The ADON is also responsible for the Human Resources, budget process, and quality assurance measures within the nursing division and serves as the Director of Nursing in the absence of a DON. They work closely with the Director of Nursing and the Administrator in daily operations of the division and participate in on-call rotation of facility coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current RN License and in good standing

2-3 years’ experience in Long Term Care Management preferred with previous ADON experience

Associates Degree in Nursing

Good Communication and interaction skills with resident, family and staff

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Associate Degree in Nursing

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:

Current RN License
